As a Peruvian company we think we have a certain social duty to support our communities. That’s why 5% of the total price of our self-operated tours and courses goes to our donation program, in which we work together with several non-profit organizations in Cusco.

But social obligations start closer to home, with paying your taxes and rewarding your personnel well for example.
Our teachers receive a basic salary that is slightly less than the best paying language schools in Cusco. However, if you inform us that you are satisfied with your classes, our teachers get a gratuity with which they can earn more than in any other language school in Cusco. In this way our staff, including the cleaner, receive a higher salary than elsewhere; as long as you are satisfied with their work!

Together with higher costs, this system gives us 2 advantages:
1. We have the most experienced team of teachers in Cusco and don’t work for example with inexperienced 18 year-old teachers.
2. We help people to become independent.

Or, to say it in a different way:
- We pay our employees a lot more than the minimum wage.
- Our employees with a fulltime contract receive health insurance and pension.
- We have developed our own methods; we didn't steal them from other institutions.
- We pay our taxes (quite a lot, actually).

By doing this we are practically unique among the Language Schools in Cusco. The level of corruption is unbelievably high and contributes to the ridiculous differences of income and to the lack of opportunities for many people.
